“When I first auditioned for the fall play my freshman year, I didn’t know anyone. I had this insanely thick Indian accent and people could barely understand me. Even then, everyone was very welcoming. And that is what I love about Eastern theater. It is that everyone is welcomed into the family with the same excitement and love.
It’s hard to imagine that I have been doing this for four years now. I am very grateful for everything Eastern theater has given me: an amazing senior class, some great friends, and some very valuable life lessons. It sucks that we didn’t get to perform the musical this year, or even say our senior speeches. It sucks that we didn’t get to say our goodbyes like we would do usually.
But all of this is nothing in front of the numerous good memories that Eastern Theater has given me. Thank you.”
“That has to either be the dance parties or the rehearsals for One Acts.”
