Hey everyone! Now, I know that music tours are a hit right now, so I figured I’d write about one that interests me. If you ever listened to EDM before, or heard of it from somewhere, you might know the WalkerWorld tour with Alan Walker is now live. My original idea was to sort of have a Q&A with Alan Walker, but he said he was a little busy. But hee did point out that the answers to my questions are in his videos. So let’s take a look:

This is a question for people you may not know on YouTube. Who are you and what music genre do you produce?
Alan Walker: My name is Alan Walker. I am a Norwegian DJ and producer. I produce EDM music. (https://alanwalker.com/about/)
Could you explain Walkerworld and the inspiration behind it?
Alan Walker: Walkerworld is my next album and it is inspired by the Walker community. I feel as if we have reached a new phase where we could interact with each other. WalkerWorld is a playable theme park experience that is set in the World of Walker. To make it playable, I teamed up with Fortnite to insert the Walkerworld for everyone to play: (Island Code: 8641-0299-5423). I would like to know for aspiring music creators, such as myself: What was your journey like in the beginning?
Alan Walker: I mainly learned how to make music on YouTube, because I never had a musical background or anything. So I just stuck behind my computer for maybe a year just watching YouTube tutorials and from that I just kept learning the basics and new things. And I got in touch with people on Facebook for example, in music groups. And we just kept on giving each other feedback and tips. Do not give up because you never know when success is around the corner. That’s exactly what happened to me. I just kept on uploading songs and songs and songs to my YouTube channel and to my SoundCloud page. And I got picked up by NoCopyrightSounds and that’s where it all started. Finally as a sort of self reflection. From looking at your journey so far, what impact would you say you left on the Walker Community?
