Angus Cloud was born on the tenth of July in 1998 in Oakland, California. He was of Irish descent, with most of his family residing in Ireland leading up to his death. He leaves behind his two younger sisters, Molly and Fiona.
Cloud initially found a passion for production design. He built his high school’s play sets as well as worked on stage lighting. He would later pursue technical theater at Oakland School for the Arts.
Romcom novel-like luck would soon turn him to the art of acting. While walking down the Manhattan streets, Cloud was approached by a casting company representative. Scouting possible talent, she asked him to read a few lines for a television show that had been up and coming. Their encounter prompted Cloud’s casting as Fezco O’Neill on the HBO Max original series Euphoria (2019-). His wise and highly moral character would become a fan favorite.
Cloud then starred in music videos, particularly in a Becky G and Karol G collaboration (MAMII) as well as for the late Juice WRLD (Cigarettes). His final screen appearance while alive was in a film entitled The Line (2023). He portrayed Robert DeWitt.
Cloud was pronounced dead at twenty-five in his family’s Oakland home on July 31st ,2023. The cause was tied to an accidental drug overdose.
Even while gone, he continued to make a mark on the screens. He appears in Your Lucky Day (2023) and in Freaky Tales (2024), which recently debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
During his time on Earth, Cloud certainly accomplished what he said best. “You have to find your own style, let your style develop. It’s not something that you can just take from a book. Style is how you hold yourself.”
