Hey everyone! I’m back from my hiatus. 

   So while I was on hiatus, I ended up falling ill, but am starting to slowly recover each day. While I was out sick, I found a new interest that I’m excited to write about and couldn’t stop thinking about: America’s Got Talent. So with the spinoff Fantasy League almost finishing up, I wanted to review it.

   I didn’t see other seasons. I mainly started binging last year’s season and watching the Fantasy League. I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with it. 

   So what is America’s Got Talent (a.k.a AGT)? America’s Got Talent is a widely popular Reality TV show where people from all over the world go and perform a talent they are good at. They then get judged by the judges to see if “America” likes their performance. If the judges like their performance, they would hit the golden buzzer. The golden buzzer immediately moves the contestant into the semi-finals. Some judges may critique the contestant, so they don’t let the contestant move forward. Mid-way, the judges can eliminate the contestants and they wouldn’t move on to the semi-finals. 

In Fantasy League, there’s a bit of a twist. A couple of fan favorite winners come back to compete and have one of the judges as their mentor. The golden buzzer immediately moves people into the finals and the audience gets to pick out who moves forward if the contestant doesn’t receive a golden buzzer. If another judge besides the mentor hits the golden buzzer for a contestant who’s on the mentor team, the judge who pressed it is now their mentor.

   I like the concept of AGT, especially Fantasy League. I like seeing the unique talents on the show. I would give this a 10/10. If I were to pick my favorites on the show, I would pick all of Putri Ariani’s performances, all of Sofie Dossi’s performances (hers is very unique), and recently all of Loren Allred’s performances.
