It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of writing about the doings of everyone’s favorite misogynist, Andrew Tate. But with his recent actions receiving national attention, I thought it was just the right time.
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are awaiting trial in Romania for charges of rape, human trafficking, and attempting to form a gang in order to exploit women. After the legal process in Romania is completed, the Tate brothers are to be extradited to the United Kingdom to be tried for similar charges.
With years of prison on the line, the Tate brothers thought their best option was to flee Romania. However, they couldn’t leave without one last stream with Adin Ross.
Adin Ross is the biggest streamer on the platform Kick – a platform that is surrounded by controversy and known to be a home for problematic online figures. Ross and the Tate brothers commonly collaborated, filming many podcasts and videos together.
The Tate brothers texted Ross, asking him if he would want to come to Romania and film a few podcasts together. They specified to Ross that this was a now or never offer and that his time window was dwindling.
Ross, in his stupidity, read the text out loud to his audience live on stream. Soon after the stream, the Tate brothers were detained by Romanian authorities to ensure the two self-proclaimed alphas did not flee the nation.
They were not held long. In fact, they were already released by the time the story broke. However, many in the online community got a bit of a laugh out of why they were caught.
The Tates’ lawyers confirmed that it was Ross that led to their detainment. He had stated that it was a “certain online influencer” that was the cause of the whole incident. Although he never singled out Ross, it is clear that is who he was referring to.
The thing I found most interesting about this whole event was Andrew’s message after being released. He kept up his matrix-breaking facade and stated that in the west, you are given the decision to either wear a dress or go to prison. Good for you Andrew!
The Tate brothers continue to provide us all a good laugh.
