Have you recently noticed that there is that one friend that can only say to you, “Ermm what the sigma!” or “Rare level 9 gyatt!” Well, I’m sorry to tell you, your friend is brain rotted. I know, it’s tragic to hear it. 

There is only one way to help your poor, dear friend. You must learn to speak brain rot. You must understand their language to understand what your friend is trying to say. 

To help you out, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most common words you may hear from a brain rotted individual so you won’t be confused next time they talk to you.

Rizz –  A person’s rizz is their “game,” or their ability to pick up a romantic partner. If someone has a great amount of rizz, then they easily attract people to them. A person with high rizz is commonly referred to as a “Rizzler”

Gyatt – One’s gluteus maximus. 

Fanum Tax – The act of your friend taking 20% of your food. 

Sigma – A type of person who is a lone wolf type – they don’t need anyone else in their life. A sigma is successful and cunning, but they do not let it be known. They are quiet and rebellious. 

Alpha – A type of person who leads betas, a person who is weak or unimpressive. They are powerful and have a presence that dominates a room.  

Jojo Siwa – Starting her career as a young girl on Dance Moms, Siwa has developed herself into one of the most viral musical artists of this year with her hit single, Karma. She is the self-proclaimed creator of “Gay Pop,” a subcategory of pop music made by queer artists. Many describe Siwa as a Goddess or their “mother.”  

Ohio – This state is the freakiest place on Earth. The word can also be used as an adjective to describe something that is crazy or strange.

Mewing – The act of placing your tongue on the roof of your mouth in order to give yourself a more chiseled jaw.  

Mogging – The act of looking superior to the person next to you. 

Moggers – A person who mogs those around them(see previous definition). 

Baby Gronk – Despite only being eleven years old, Baby Gronk is the greatest athlete to ever grace the Earth. He is a top prospect in football and has already been signed to every Big 10 school to play for them. However, his top achievement has to be rizzing up Livy Dunne, a gymnast at LSU.

Big Back – This is an insult you may throw at someone who is overweight or enjoys eating a little too much. 

Tik Tok Rizz Party – At a school dance, Kayne’s Carnival came on. A group of boys at this dance went viral for singing and boppin ‘with the song. The leader of the boys was Blue Tie Kid— however his rule did not go untested. Turkish Quandale Dingle, the second most powerful member of the group, tried to overthrow Blue Tie Kid, but fell short. 

Glazing – The act of giving someone an extreme amount of compliments till the point where it becomes overbearing. 

Kai Cenat – A Twitch streamer who is characterized by his short stature and his reactions to clips. 

Skibidi Toilet – This show started the whole epidemic of brain rot. It follows “Skibidi Toilet,” a man whose head is sticking out of a toilet, as he tries to avoid the Cameramen, which is a group of people with cameras for heads. 

These are just a few of the terms you’re gonna need to know in order to communicate with someone who has become brain rotted. If you want to know more, you’re gonna need to do your own research. Though I warn you – if you venture any further, there may be no return.
