On the 25th of October, the boys of Eastern’s Choir took a trip to Rowan for the Young Men’s Festival of Song. They had the opportunity to see different vocal groups from Rowan perform and talk to some of the school’s professionals about choir techniques. At the end, the boys got the chance to sing songs with all of the people there.

  “It was really cool seeing 500 male singers in one room because that doesn’t happen very often,” said Sophomore Luke Magette.

  The girls from choir attended the Kimmel Center on a field trip in November where they spent the day  witnessing a Philadelphia Orchestra rehearsal.

  “The Kimmel Center was shaped like a viola on the inside and the musicians and their music were truly magical and inspiring,” said Reeya Vasisht ‘19.
