Sporty & Elevated Activewear
Why shouldn’t we make our clothes as comfortable and breathable as possible? Some would argue that “comfortable clothes” don’t look elegant or classy because they are too sporty-looking or lazy-looking. But over the summer of 2025, this has all changed. Comfortable clothing and sporty attire had suddenly evolved from plain stretchy shorts and breathable dresses and skirts. Comfort is key in today’s fashion, so to incorporate anything remotely comfortable in clothing is greatly attractive for people. 2025 summer fashion has proven to us that you don’t have to wear leggings just for sports or any physical activity. They can be worn all the time because of their flattering look and versatile colors and textures.
Maxi Lengths
Maxi lengths started to become popular this summer when women decided that regular skirts and dress lengths shouldn’t be where the comfort ends. Women were looking for something that provided coverage and a chic, effortless look at the same time. Voilà! The maxi dress and maxi skirt was made. Although it was made before the summer of 2025, maxi lengths started to become increasingly prevalent because of its high influence on our society, especially women. Some celebrities who influenced this were Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid. These two women are an example of resembling Y2K in 2025 because of their debuts in maxi dresses. Bella Hadid’s famous denim maxi skirt is a classic example of how the Y2K style is still deeply woven into today’s fashion choices.
