Ice skating at Cooper River Park

  Looking to embrace the cold weather and spend some time outside? Go ice skating at the Cooper River Park! Open from now to February 19th, ice skating is the perfect winter activity with friends, or even a Valentine’s Day date. Adult admission charges $6, as well as $4 skate rental. The park is open from 5pm-9pm Monday through Thursday, 12pm-10pm on Friday and Saturday, and 12pm-8pm on Sunday. Get out and skate before the ice melts!

Say goodbye to the “LOVE” statue

  Everyone knows about the iconic “LOVE” statues that stands in Dilworth park in Philadelphia. But this Valentine’s Day is its last day standing in that exact spot. The statue is being moved back to its original home in LOVE Park. From noon to 2pm on Valentine’s Day, the park is holding a “Last Chance for Love” party, complete with music, food, and free roses for the first 200 guests. Go say goodbye to Love for the last time this February 14th.

President’s Day weekend in Philadelphia

  Philadelphia is one of the most historic places in the country. What better way to spend President’s Day weekend, than in the place where these presidents often worked and lived? Philadelphia, home to many museums and historical sites, embraces the past by holding multiple events this year. Places like the National Constitution Center, American Jewish History Museum, and Benjamin Franklin Museum will have free admission February 14-19th to celebrate the national holiday.

Dilworth Park Wintergarden

  Now through February 25th, the Dilworth Park Wintergarden is open outside City Hall in Philadelphia. Enjoy ice skating at the Rothman Institute Ice Rink, as well as cozying up with some hot chocolate in the Rothman Institute Cabin. If skating isn’t your thing, feel free to wander around the park and view the beautiful seasonal plants and lights. The rink and cabin are open from noon to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and adult admission is $5 in addition to $10 skate rental, if needed.
