Challenging.

That’s the one word that senior Allie Wichrowski said defined the volleyball season.

  “We had seven different lineups due to injuries,” she said.

Normally, the setter runs the team, and it’s a standard piece and they touch the ball the most.  So different setters came and went.

  Trinity Vargas got a concussion. Kyleigh Masterson broke her finger. Allie sprained her ankle.

  The team went 8-10 for the season. They disqualified for playoffs due to an under .500 record.

  Junior Brenna Masterson said the team smaller, leading to close relationships between all of the players and between JV/varsity.

   “Despite having many injuries this season,” she said, “everyone was still working hard and a big part of the team.

  Next year will feature three seniors, Taylor Ruiz, Cera Ong, and Brenna Masterson will return.
