Eastern is no slouch when it comes to its efficient and interesting faculty, one of which is contained in room 206. Ms. Walker has assisted the school with her 20 years of instructing classes.

 Ms. Walker describes herself as efficient, happy, and open minded.

 She dedicates a lot of time to her past careers, such as computer programming, but admires working in Eastern’s environment. “I had a lot of jobs before this. I was a programmer, and it was interesting traveling around the country at the time”. If not a teacher, she would like to be a part of a public affairs broadcasting show if she was not a teacher.

 As a staff member, Ms. Walker takes pride associating herself as part of a facility filled with diverse and sympathetic staff members. “The buildings are very well maintained and the support staff is very nice and care for what they do.”

 Throughout her years at Eastern, Ms. Walker feels as though her biggest impacts comes from remaining on the staff as long as she did helping students and people, in general: although he finds there are times where tending to everyone can be hard, stating, “You want to go through with everyone but you also have to be fair with everyone. Eastern does what’s best for the students.”

 Ms. Walker is not only inspired by old favorite teachers, who were “funny and cared about their students and their subjects” but finds respect for those who fought to maintain a stable society for us to live in. “Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks just had a vision of the future. I was alive when they were around and I knew what it was like racially. I’m glad it’s better than it used to be. Meant a lot to me.”

 Ms. Walker is a teacher with a lot of passion. Her variety of interests and points of views maintain her as an, overall, compelling person. “I want to go through with all of my students, but I also want to be fair to everyone and I’m glad Eastern does what is best for the students.”
