Do others call you self centered or an attention hog? If so, you might be a Leo.

  Astrology has twelve zodiac signs: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. Your zodiac sign depends on your date of birth. 

  Each zodiac has good and bad personality traits affiliated with them. For example, Geminis can be two-faced and untrustworthy. On the other hand, Geminis tend to be very adventurous, fun loving, and open minded.

  While these stereotypes do not cover everyone exactly, they have some merit. Each sign has positive and negative stereotypes, and based on those, here is our ranking of the zodiacs from worst to best.

12. Starting off is Cancer (June 21st-July 22). Cancers are extremely compassionate, intelligent and in-touch with emotions for others and themselves. Unfortunately, they have fallen into the stereotype that they are overly sensitive and lack self control (which in some cases is true.) Their sensitivity isn’t always sadness and fear, though. It can be and is a lot of the time anger which may lead to issues and problems and it can lead to ending of relationships and friendships and family members being upset. In my experience, Cancers have used their sensitivity as an excuse for their behavior and which is sometimes a bit annoying. 

11. Geminis (May 20th-June 21st) are social butterflies that love adventure. They are daring and bold, but, as the name suggests, can be two-faced. Geminis can be sweet, with nothing but kind intentions, only to act rude behind closed doors. This contrasting demeanor earns them their place on the ranking.

10. Tenth place goes to Pisces (February 19th to March 20th) who come right after Aquarius and right before Aries on the calendar placement. Pisces tend to be self-absorbed, sensitive, and irresponsible but they are also kind, charitable, and creative. Similar to the Cancers, they can be a bit overly sensitive and sometimes don’t know how to take a joke. Good news, they have a tendency to be oblivious, so they may not even notice a joke was made.

9. Leos (July 22 to August 22)  tend to be very self-centered, stubborn, and bossy,  but they are also very creative, loyal, and affectionate. They tend to want all the attention at all times. This can get frustrating for peers, but Leos can be the most loyal people you’ll ever meet. 

8. Sagittarians (November 22 to December 21) are the type to write that they are friendly, adventurous, and easy-going in their Tinder bio, but neglect to mention their carelessness and irresponsibility. They are typically sweet, but their other side is bitter. Sagittarians are very sarcastic and funny, which can occasionally come off as mean spirited, but they have no intentions to be. 

7. Taurus (April 20th to May 20th) are patient, reliable, jealous, and stubborn. Like their namesake, the bull, they are so stubborn that sometimes it can cause issues and fights between friends and family. Even though this may happen, they always mean well and would never mean to hurt anyone. 

6. Aquarius (January 19th to February 18th) are rebellious, stubborn, determined, humanitarian, and logical. They are very easy to get along with, they’re not very materialistic, they love adventure and trying new things, placing them solidly in the middle of our ranking.

5. Aries (March 21st to April 19th) can be temperamental and are very sarcastic. Like Taurus, their jokes may come off mean, but they mean no harm. On the inside, an Aries typically just wants a hug. They are quick to anger, but underneath the hard shell is a soft inside 

4. Capricorn (December 22 to January 19th) are the December and January sign. Capricorns keep themselves busy, which can often seem like they are avoiding plans. They always mean well ,are super charismatic, and love trying new things. If a Capricorn offers you friendship, we suggest you take it. 

3. Libras (September 22 to October 23) are known for being talented, driven, indecisive, and sometimes a handful. They are always willing to help, even if they are not asked for it, and have a knack for seeming like they always know what to do.. They tend to try to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and bottle up their emotions, refusing to be the one to ask for help. Libras have a wonderful personality, but if you have one in your life, offer them a little love. 

2. Scorpios (October 23 to November 22) are a controversial sign. Some love them, others hate them, there is no in-between. Their name, derived from the same root as “scorpion” gives them a reputation of mean and poisonous. However, this is undeserved.They are extremely sarcastic, down for anything type of people. Yes, they can be a bit scary sometimes but at the end of the day, they’re all softies. 

1. Virgos (August 23 to September 22) are very organized and detail-oriented. Along with Libras, they try to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. Virgos love helping people, but refuse to ask for help. They are organized and efficient, with a tendency to rise to stardom. One of the most famous Virgos is actress and singer Zendaya. She is very proud to be a Virgo and has stated it many times. Their strong, decisive, caring personality brings Virgos to the top of today’s list, as the best zodiac sign.

   This is just one opinion of the rankings, but it is not the be-all-end-all. At the end of the day, it is simply how the stars were aligned when you were born.  Your zodiac sign doesn’t define everything about you so don’t let it. If someone complains about you not acting like your sign, feel free to find a Taurus friend to fight them off for you, as they will be happy to do so.
