Community Interact Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday, December 6, the Interact Club had their annual “breakfast with Santa.” Interact members got into small groups and were assigned different families with kids to spend time with and help them get breakfast, which was provided by the club.

“They were really sweet,” said junior, Marissa Pavorsky. “We got to see families we’d seen in the past and reconnecting was great.”

The gym was filled with activities for the children like face-painting, ornament-decorating, and a moon bounce.

“The kids love the bouncy house and it was so fun to watch them jump around.” said Jenna Janco ‘19. “It’s awesome that the kids remember you and we can have fun with them over the years.”

While the kids play, parents can go to another room where they can buy raffle tickets for different gifts. And, of course, Santa Claus comes for a visit.

“It was snowing that day, so it pulled the whole Christmas spirit together when Santa came,” said Pavorsky. “It’s just great to see the Eastern community come together for a good cause.”
