A Seat at The Table: Doing Good at Dolsot

A Seat at The Table: Doing Good at Dolsot

Cherry Hill houses a flavorful gem located on Marlton Pike East.

Dolsot House, a Korean barbecue restaurant, serves up classic Korean dishes of the best quality.

“Dolsot” translates to hot stone pot, a variation of the classic Bibimbap, which usually comes with a raw egg. Almost every dish is served in these sizzling pots, which continue to cook as they meet your table.

Before your meal arrives, Dolsot serves you banchan, a series of small dishes. One of my favorite dishes to order is Kimchi Jjigae, a tangy kimchi pork stew that comes with a bowl of rice. Kimchi Jjigae is a savory stew, perfect right after a long week of school or work.

Dolsot makes many different stews, each with a vegetarian and seafood option, if Kimchi Jjigae does not fit your tastes.

In addition to delicious stews, Dolsot House makes Mackerel Pike filled with tangy, buttery, and rich flavors. The dish comes with four pieces of fish that contain small bones, so take heed when eating.

Dolsot House is most known for their award winning Korean fried wings that come in four different flavors: soy garlic, honey sesame, spicy, diablo.

Because the wings are fried twice, they have a crunchy exterior, adding a necessary texture change. Their sauces are layered on thick, making the provided wet wipes a must have.

For each dish, you can pick your preferred spice level on a scale of 1 to 5. 5 is the most spicy, while 1 is mild in flavor and spice.

The food at Dolsot House is mouthwatering, transporting you to Korea, allowing a peak into a beautiful culture. It connects people through a universal love of good food.

So next time you are looking for a change from pizza and and burgers and burritos, stop by Dolsot House for a flavor journey.
